DIRECTIONS TO THE RANGE: (Find Ripon. Use a map if you have to.) Drive to Ripon, and get on the east-west road through town (Hwy 23). At some point you will meet Union Street, which has a Pizza Hut on one corner. Turn NORTH at Pizza Hut, and take your FIRST LEFT. You should now be on County FF. Follow County FF northwest approximately 2 miles. The range will be clearly marked on the north side of the road. If you pass Koro Road, you've gone too far. Vehicles should be parked northwest of the trap tower, as the road further on is sloppy and under construction.

2011 Wisconsin IDPA State Championship

The 2011 Wisconsin IDPA State Championship will be held on August 6th at the Ripon Rifle & Pistol Club in Ripon, WI. The match will use a single flight format this year, instead of the two flight format that's been used in the past.

The match will consist of 9 stages, and require approximately 150 rounds. Expect to be challenged by some of the stage designs! Attendees must be a current member of IDPA, and must have shot a Classifier Match and achieved Marksman or higher in the Division that they are competing in within the 12 months prior to the match. There will be an equipment check, so please ensure that your equipment is legal for IDPA. Pistols must fit inside an IDPA box, all handguns must meet their Division's weight restrictions, and all ammunition must be at or above the minimum power factor for the Division you're shooting in. Every Shooter's ammo will be chronographed. See the IDPA Rule Book for the exact requirements for each Division.

There is a block of rooms reserved for match attendees for the night of August 5th at the Welcome Inn in Ripon, WI. Any of these rooms that are not reserved by July 16th will be released for general use, so make sure to get your reservation in before then. Just mention "Wisconsin IDPA State Championship" when making your reservation.

Staff will set up the match on Friday, August 5th, and shoot as soon as setup is complete. Sunday, August 7th , is our dangerous weather date. Check back at this website for additional information as it becomes available.
